New Hotel, Warsaw

vsf-creative were invited to provide design proposals for the facades of a new-build hotel in a conservation area in metropolitan Warsaw, closely linked to an existing assembly of re-purposed early 20th century buildings and governed by a specific brief to compliment the surrounding environment.

With a controlled and limited palette of materials, the design strives to balance the historic context of the immediate neighbourhood with a more contemporary feel for the new building, using eclectic themes and motifs from both the Art Deco and Post-Modern styles.
